Pastors Greg and Melissa and Gateway Family Church have taken on this theme for life and ministry. Healings from cancer to broken bones, and learning disorders to emotional healings, happen regularly. This is the children's bread. These works of God are not limited to revival meetings. The church is learning how to take this anointing to the schools, workplace, and neighborhoods with similar results. Pastor Greg teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God, and that a Gospel without power is not the Gospel that Jesus preached.
Pastors Greg and Melissa have been married for 13 years and have been blessed with 5 wonderful children. Gregory is 10 years old and is planning on following in his father’s footsteps by becoming a pastor. Bella is 9 and has a heart for missions she planning her first trip with her Dad this coming year. Alyssa Grace is 8 and is full of compassion and has a huge heart. Benjamin is 5 and full of life. Judah is almost 2 and already has a sense of humor like his Dad.
Founding Pastors Hap and Sandy Schoeber
Founding Pastors Hap and Sandy Schoeber have been in the ministry for over 30 years. They started off in children’s ministry and traveled with the King’s Kids.
In 1996 they opened the doors of the Glen Carbon church, starting with only 35 members, and steadily growing to several hundred.
Pastor Sandy has the Father’s heart of compassion for the lost, hurting and wounded. She preaches the Word of faith enough to believe for, and live a life of, victory. She has also been anointed in the areas of prophecy and healing, both physical and emotional. They have served as Pastor Rod Parsley’s area director, and have ministered for several churches, conferences and TV programs.
Youth Pastor David Wycoff
David came on staff in 2008 as Youth Pastor and Worship Leader. Pastor Dave has been involved in ministy at our church for several years. He has a pure heart and a passion for teens to live a life worth Christ dying for.
