We believe that this is a year to plan, and create a vision for you and your family. As you work through this process of planning, we have developed worksheets to help you in the process. Simply click on the links under each step to access these helpful resources.
· God is a planner
· You will never do something really big without a plan
· Plans turn your dreams into reality
· They make your dream seem possible
· Planning is the work of a leader –it is how your life becomes productive
· As you plan you will learn principles
STEP ONE
Begin by creating a mission statement
Many people are busy as a result of doing things that have nothing to do with their purpose and mission statement. Once you have yours set; use it as a map and a guideline for success. Anything that does not fit into your statement should not be a priority. Allow your statement to define who are.
STEP TWO
Next, describe the characteristics that you want to possess. These are called your core values. Core values determine how you will act and what kind of personality you want to have. It is important that these values must be communicated through all that you do.
STEP THREE
Develop your BHAG’s (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) and define the barriers to completing your BHAG’s.
STEP FOUR
Develop your strategy and define the members of your support team
STEP FIVE
Plan for the future
STEP SIX
Find time to work planning into your life and prioritize that time
We hope that this tool will help you to outline the goals and dreams that God has set before you, and most importantly obtain those goals and live out those dreams!
